Offers a loan program for hospital beds and specialized equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, bath seats, commodes and raised toilet seats.

Housing Nova Scotia


Housing Nova Scotia provides a range of programs and services, with the goal of providing safe and affordable homes in Nova Scotia.

This organization offers programs to help lower income people with disabilities make modifications to their homes, to improve accessibility, and provides grants to help people adapt their home to become wheelchair accessible.

Chronic Pain Association of Canada


Provides information on chronic pain, as well as a list of support groups.

Canadian Paraplegic Association (Swap & Shop)


Provides listings for new and used equipment that is for sale, including accessible vans, wheelchairs, mobility aids, scooters, and medical equipment.
